Upendra Maththe Baa – is a return of two super hit combinations superstar Upendra and Prema. Both have been part of two films in the past – both were super hits.

In ‘Om’ Upendra directed Prema as heroine in 1995. However this is after 18 years of ‘Upendra’ Kannada cinema that Prema is acting in a Upendra film. This is Telugu remake film ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ a super hit one in 2016. Upendra is doing what Nagarjuna had done in Telugu and Prema takes up Ramya Krishna role while Shruthi Hariharan had done Lavanya Tripathi role.

The fun in this film begins when protagonist is given permission to visit his wife by Lord Yama to set things right in the family. The development after return of protagonist leads to fun, romance, action, songs etc.

Upendra plays double role in this film with three more heroines Shruthi Hariharan, Harshika Poonacha, Deepti Kapse and Shruthi Dinesh. In the supporting role dialogue king Saikumar, Sadhu Kokila, Shobaraj, Vasishta N Simha, Avinash among others add to this is big budget movie.

In Hayagreeva Enterprises MS Sreekanth, MS Shashikanth and Ravindranath KL invested on this film. Sridhar V Sambram musical scores and Loki alias Arun Lokanath of ‘H2O’ film heading the megaphone.

Upendra has penned dialogues, Swami Cinematography, Joni Harsha editing, Tribhuvan, Imran Sardaria in dance, Thriller Manju, Different Danny stunts add in the technical department.
