The noted producer of Kannada cinema with a series of hits Kanakapura Srinivas has come out strongly on the rumor spread on ‘Bhajari’ collection.

It is not Rs.50 crores collection. It is a ‘Bogus figure’. Such speculations are made to increase the remunerations but it is a wrong message to the actual producer. Unnecessarily the answers have to be given to the income tax officials say Srinivas looking worried while answering on this rumor.

As a producer what I tell is correct figure. For Rs.17 crore budget the collection is Rs.20 crores plus. I have made a profit of Rs.3 crores and nothing else related to ‘Bharjari’ investment and return. I do not give bogus figures in my film career as producer he adds.

On the litigation related to ‘Dhana Kayonu’, Srinivas says the case is going. I asked for three months time. Director Yogaraj Bhat was first given Rs.90 lakhs and only Rs.15 lakhs was balance.  Yogaraj Bhat assured Rs.2.25 crores as TV right for the film. I got one crore less. It was not in writing. It was just belief says Kanakapura Srinivas. Let the case go on he adds on this litigation with Yogaraj Bhat.
