Sivakarthikeyan in a short span has risen to the position of one of the most bankable stars of Tamil cinema. His recent victory is as a producer as his debut venture 'Kanaa' directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj has received high critical praise and has also done extremely well at the box office.

Aamir Khan took his woman centric sports movie 'Dangal' to China and struck box office gold there as the audience drove the film to the highest grossing foreign film ever in history. It is now reported that since 'Kanaa' too is a similar subject the team has planned to dub it in Chinese and release it in the populous country. Initial response from the distributors there are said to be highly positive and we may soon see the well made film making its mark in China too.
