Kamna on way to the top

Kamna Jethmalani is a happy girl these days.

Her film under Jaya is shaping well. That's not the reason alone for her happy mood.

Her performance in the film, Premikulu, has so far been so good that the director almost singled out for special praise at a press meet yesterday.

Kamna, the granddaughter of crusty veteran lawyer Ram Jethmalani, is all smiles to the compliments that come her way.

Jaya who has finished a major portion of the film, said that Kamna was dazzling like a doe. It is impossible not to like her performance. "After the release, I am very sure Telugu audience would fall in love with Kamna. She is a fast learner. Though this is her first film, it doesn't feel that way working with her.'

Kamna is obviously thrilled. She says she is excited about working in more Telugu films. If the offers are good, why not, is her reasoning. And if there are enough offers, she wouldn't mind even settling down in Hyderabad itself.

Premikulu also features Yuvaraj and Rishi Girish. "This is a fun film. We are making it to be a total entertainer", says Jaya.

Producer BA Raju says "this different love story is getting the right touches". The film is set for release in June.

Kamna says she owed everything to Jaya. "My work is a reflection of the encouragement of Jaya".

She says "on the sets it was quite entertaining. We never felt we were working. It was like paid holiday for us."

Let the fans too have the same enjoyment after the film's release.
