After his smash hit "Anand", director Sekar Kammula has surprised all by refusing to announce plans for a new film.

"I am enjoying the success and I don't intend to launch a new film soon," the director told IANS.

National award winner, Kammula's attitude is astonishing, considering the fact that most Telugu filmmakers either announce or sign a new film before the hype over a hit dies down.

Currently, Kammula is negotiating with several producers over remake rights to "Anand".
