Rajeev Ravi’s critically acclaimed directorial Kammattipaadam starring Dulquer Salmaan, Vinayakan and Manikandan Achari in the lead roles is one of the most raved about projects of recent years. Though the movie's duration was 4 hours, the makers had to cut it short for theatrical release. But now, the makers are planning to release the uncut 4 hours version soon. 

At the ongoing IFFK, where her movie Liar’s Dice is being screened, Rajeev Ravi's wife and actor-director Geetu confirmed the news. She said that the extraordinary response from fans had inspired them to release the uncut version. It’s indeed a great news for all Kammattipaadam fans out there.

Actors Vinayakan and debutant Manikandan Achari overshadowed lead actor Dulquer Salmaan with their stellar performances as Ganga and Balan in the movie. The duo had also won last year’s Kerala State Award for best actor and second actor respectively.
