Nassar one of the most respected character actors in Indian cinema the past few days has been in the news for the wrong reason as his younger brother has been giving interviews accusing him of neglecting his parents and siblings.

Nassar's younger brother Jawahar has stated that the award-winning actor has been neglecting his parents and brothers and that Kameela Nassar is the one who split the family and is preventing her husband from helping out his side of the family.

Nassar has reacted to his brother's allegations stating that since his wife Kameela is contesting the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 from the central Chennai constituency on a Makkal Neethi Maiam ticket her opposition in politics are trying to get at her through her family. Nassar asserted that his wife is not under his shadow and has a distinct identity and that after the elections he would clarify about all the allegations of his brother.
