'Indian' directed by Shankar is one of the most important movies in Kamal Hassan's filmography which earned him multiple awards including the National Award. The legendary actor played the role of an elderly vigilante who seeks out and punishes perpetrators of social crimes.
In what appears to be exciting news for Kamal's fans, director Shankar is reportedly meeting Kamal often and sources reveal that it is indeed to bring the 'Indian thatha' back on to the big screen. It is whispered that the sequel will have story attributes that are concurrent with the present political scenario and modern technology. The '2.0' director will craft the story keeping in mind the actor's political stand and how the vigilante character of Senapathy would handle today's social evils.
As Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' is all set to hit the screens worldwide on the 26th of January 2018, fans can get ready to witness one more Shankar sequel with the Ulaganayagan in the form of 'Indian 2'.
