Kamal's pat for Venkataraman

Kamalhassan remembered the function held at Delhi to give the Dada Saheb Phalke award to Raj Kapoor.
When the name of Raj Kapoor was announced the then President R Venkataraman walked down from the dias and came up to the seat where Raj Kapoor was seated and presented the award." Everybody was whispering that we have a very nice President" said Kamalhassan at the function held to celebrate the birth centenary of K Subrahamanyam.
R Venkataraman who was the Chief guest was all smiles when narrated this anecdote.
