Kamal's mega alliance

Kamal Haasan seems to be leaving no stone unturned as far as promoting his idea to air 'Viswaroopam' on DTH platform is concerned.
This evening (7.30 pm to be precise), Kamal Haasan will hold a mega press meet in Chennai, to 'officially announce' the launch of 'Vishwaroopam' on DTH platform, hours before its theatrical release.
The meeting will be attended by heads of DTH companies which have tied up with Kamal, apart from chiefs of South India Film Chamber of Commerce, Producers Council, FEFSI, Directors Union, Actors Association and Coimbatore/Erode/Tirupur/Nilgiris Theatre Owners Association.
And this meeting comes within a day after Kamal held a press meet in Chennai on Friday, in association with a leading DTH service provider.
It is said that even as other theatre owners associations are opposed to Kamal's idea, theatre owners in Coimbatore, Tirupur and Nilgiris areas are supporting him.
