Actress Anandhi who is known for her hard hitting performances in content oriented movies such as Visaranai, Irandam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu, Kayal and Pariyerum Perumal is back on screens this week after a hiatus, as her next movie Kamali from Nadukkaveri gets released.

Kamali from Nadukkaveri will present Anandhi in the titular role Kamali, a small town girl and her travails, the experiences she faces in her life, the situations and love she confronts in college, and a social message is presented in this entertainer, as said by the film's team.

This movie marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Rohit Saraf and also stars Prathap Pothen, Imman Annachi and many others. Directed by debutant Rajasekar Duraisamy, Kamali from Nadukkaveri which is produced by Abbundu studios has music by Dheena dhayalan and releases on February 12.
