As Kamal Hassan's political entry is on the verge, his proactive involvement in current affairs have earned him respect from his followers and TN people. In addition to his bold opinions, the actor also stepped into action by assessing the Ennore creek recently.

In a recently held Farmers Association meeting, Kamal has raised questions as to why the Centre doesn't waive loan for TN farmers exclusively. Stating that he will do his best for the welfare of farmers, he expressed that it was a sign of gratitude.

Stressing the need to industrialise the agricultural sector, Kamal also stated that he was well aware of the difficulties that farmers face. He also added that he wasn't there to gather votes, instead, to help the farmers cause.

Kamal Hassan also promised to send an army of 5 lakh people to help clean lakes and ponds for the betterment of farmers and agriculture.
