Kamal Hassan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’ release created a media frenzy upon its release in 2013 and then continued to become a commercial high grosser. Since then fans have beeneagerly awaiting the film’s sequel ‘Vishwaroopam 2’.

Much to the overjoy of fans, Kamal has stated that the last stint of shooting for the film’s Tamil and Hindi version is on progression in Chennai’s Officers Training Academy. Pertaining this Kamal had posted a message on his social page.

“OTA Chennai makes the nation and me proud. The only academy that trains lady officers in India. I salute the ladies and especially my favorite lady, India. Maa tuje Salaam,” Kamal stated.

Ghibran has composed the music score for the film with the film retaining the major part of its cast in the sequel as well. Kamal has wriiten the film as well has wielded the megaphone for the much anticipated 'Vishwaroopam 2'.
