The latest birthday of Superstar Rajinikanth that fell on 12th December 2014, was the most memorable one for his fans as the star's 'Lingaa' released on that day,, probably the first time occurrence of such a phenomenon in the actor`s 40 year long career.

Now it seems to be his good friend and professional competitor Kamal Haasan`s turn to treat his fans in the same way for his upcoming birthday.

As the Ulaganayagan`s upcoming film Thoongavanam` is in post-production stage the film`s release date hovers around the grand Deepavali weekend.

Now sources reveal that the Rajesh.M.Selva directed film would release on November 6 a day before the birthday of Kamal which falls on November 7. This will also be a Friday the most preferred release day ahead of the Diwali festival, which falls on November 10,,a weekday.

Kamal fans are overjoyed about this development, but we will have to wait for an official confirmation on this regard.

Thoongavanam` is the official remake of French thriller Sleepless Night. The film`s star cast includes Kamal, Trisha, Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj, Kishore, Sampath, Asha Sharath, Yuhi Sethu and many others. Music is being scored by Ghibran while the film has been bankrolled by Raj Kamal Films International.

The first look trailer of the film will be released on September 16.
