Kamal to direct KB

Here comes a pleasant surprise to movie lovers, especially Kamal and KB fans. The 'sishya' would direct his 'guru' for a yet to be titled movie, which would go on floors soon.

I am producing and directing a movie, in which Balachandar is acting with me. This is the first time for us to share the screen space together. His role has got enormous importance in the film, Kamal was quoted as saying.

KB is the mentor of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, the two superstars of Tamil cinema. This is the 50th year of Kamal in the Tamil film industry and the news that he would direct his mentor is no doubt a reason to celebrate for his fans.
