Kamal Haasan was maintaining a low profile; one has to say, ever since he kick started 'Viswaroopam'. Though the actor took part in filmy functions, he almost stayed away from the media.

After a long time, the actor will be holding a press meet in Chennai on Tuesday (October), in connection with the annual Media & Entertainment Business Conclave (MEBC).

The conclave is being organized by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Kamal is the chairman of MEBC.

MEBC South has become a successful and fruitful amalgamation of the creative arts in the past three years. The entire gamut of the entertainment industry - Films, Television, Music, Animation, Gaming and technology areas have been covered at the past Conclave editions and their specific issues will again be attended to in 2012.

The event has been slated for 16th – 17th October 2012 in Chennai to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema. "Kamal on Tuesday will explain the theme and other highlights of the conclave," sources said.
