The first big hit of the year 'Traffic' had the Ulaganayagan Kamalahassan as the chief guest for its hundredth day celebration. The function was held a couple of days ago at the Gokulam convention centre, Ernakulam, where kamal hassan and director lal jose distributed the mementos to the entire crew and artists of the movie.Kamalhassan said'' I will be using the entire crew and all the artists except one for the Tamil remake of the movie. And that artist will be rehman, as i will be donning his role in the Tamil version''.

The cast and crew who were overjoyed with the announcement, will start working on the movie in the coming weeks. The Tamil version will tell the tales behind the express movement of the separated heart of a person facing death in the Chennai hospital to another patient in a nearby town urgently in need of a transplantation.
