While everyone is raving about the planning and hard work of the 'Thoongavanam' team spearheaded by its lead actor and producer Kamal Haasan, after knowing that the shooting of the film has been completed at a remarkable speed, Kamal revealed the entire secret behind the planned activity and credited his entire team for the successful achievement of the plan.
Speaking at the audio and trailer launch of 'Thoongavanam' Kamal said,
"The film has been made in two languages (Tamil and Telugu). Many scenes had to be shot twice. Even the number plate has to be changed for a car passing shot. Uniforms of the Policemen has to be changed as it is different in Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Hence this can be called two films. We planned to complete the shoot by 52 days.We completed and reshoot some scenes after seeing the rushes and that took eight more days. So we have shot two films in 60 days. 30 days each.
I myself have shot films for 200 days. But it has been my long-held conviction that if we plan accordingly, that many days are not required. People used to disagree. But I wanted to prove that. We have been forming a team for five years to prove this. This is the victory of that team. It is not just because of my commitment to complete the film within this date. Everyone in the team had to work in tandem. Tiffen supplier, driver, cook everyone should come on time and work. Such a great team has been formed for me. They came for me. They are the warriors of this victory. These people are very important reason for the victory of our films. In our set, everyone worked like a family. That`s why this film has come well so easily."
