A large number of Tamil outfits and political parties are fighting for their rightful share of Cavuery river and against the Central Government's failure to constitute the Cauvery Management Board. Many youngsters and common people are talking part in protests organised across the state. 

The sentiments echoed in the Makkal Needhi Mayyam's second public meeting organised at Tiruchi on Wednesday. The actor turned politician charged the center of committing a blunder by failing to constitute CMB. He also cautioned that if the center fails to form the CMB at the earliest and safeguard the rights of the Tamil people over Cauvery, it will have to face a peaceful non-cooperation of the people. 

The 'Viswaroopam' star also accused the Tamil Nadu Government for pretending to sleep over the Cauvery issue. He called the day long fast protest of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister and many other members of the ruling party as farcical.
