Stars from Kollywood were seen glittering at Poes Garden in Chennai on Saturday, when they called on the newly elected Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who was once a popular actress.

The list of those who met the Chief Minister at her residence featured the names of Kamal Haasan, Prabhu, Vijay, V S Raghavan, S A Chandrasekar, L R Eswari, Sachu and S N Lakshmi.

While Kamal Haasan was accompanied by Gowthami and daughters Akshara and Subbulakshmi, Prabhu too was accompanied by family members, including brother Ramkumar, wife and children.

Vijay, whose Makkal Iyakkam campaigned in support of Jayalalithaa's AIADMK in the Assembly elections, met the Chief Minister with his father Chandrasekar. He earlier called on the AIADMK supremo when poll results predicted a massive victory for her party on May 13.
