From Kamal Haasan and SS Rajamouli, from NTR to Allu Arjun, from RGV to Vamsi Paidipally, they have all described the Government of India's recognition of K Viswanath's artistic brilliance as Telugu cinema's proud moment and more.

Kamal Haasan, who gave some of his best performances in films directed by Kala Tapasvi, said, "My K.Vishwanath gaaru is a Dada Saheb Palke award winner. In his humility he would say " I am lucky" .Truth is Indians are lucky. So am I. Thank u with glistening eyes Vishwanath gaaru for Sagara sangamam. Like Balu of S.S I initiate more applause. Your fame is mine vice versa".

SS Rajamouli, himself a Padma Sri, said, "It's a matter of pride for Telugu cinema that the extraordinary director K Viswanath garu has been conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award".

NTR was probably the first one to congratulate KV. He said, "This is a rare honor for Kala Tapasvi. A proud moment for Telugu cinema".

Allu Arjun said, "I am extremely Proud that our legendary director K.Vishwanath Garu was won the Dada Sabeh Palke Award. What an honour for Telugu Industry".

Koratala Siva said, "Always wondered how he made every movie a classic. Happy to hear Kala Tapaswi k.viswanath garu winning dadasaheb phalke award. Long live sir".

Vamsi Paidipally said, ""Kala Thapasvi" K.Vishwanath Garu honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke Award...A True Legend who touched lives with His Films".

RGV, in his irreverent style, said, "Vishwanath gaaru nenu Daada saheb cinemaloo choosanu mee cinemaloo choosanu ..naa vuddheshamlo Dada saheb ki mee peru meeda award ivvali".

Selvaraghavan said, "Extremely delighted and happy to know that k.viswanath sir, who is an inspiration to so many film makers like me won".
