As we had reported earlier, actor Kamal Haasan has undergone a surgery in Apollo Hospital in Chennai due to a fracture he had suffered on his leg.
Now news coming from Hospital sources suggest that the multi-talented star will have to stay in the hospital for a week's time and will be discharged only next week.
Kamal who was shooting for 'Sabash Naidu' in the USA returned to Chennai last week after completing a lengthy schedule. Tomorrow (July 17) He is supposed to take part in a interactive session with film buffs in the Bagiri Foundation London Indian Films Festival and receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to Indian Film Industry. Now he will have to miss this event as he will be in hospital under the doctor's care.
The veteran star had also agreed to take part as the chief guest in the audio launch of Sudheep-Nithya Menen starrer 'Mudinja Ivana Pudi' directed by K.S.Ravikumar. Now Kamal's participation in this event has also become unlikely.
We pray the god for a speedy recovery of the Ulaganayagan.
