When Kushboo's phone rang the other day, she did not know that she was in for some surprises. For, it was Kamal Haasan who was on the other side of the line, with a special invitation for his 'Singaravelan' co-star.

Read the rest of the story in Kushboo's own words: "Ace Kathak dancer Pandit Birju Maharaj was in Chennai recently to take part in the shoot of Viswaroopam. I know Kathak and I like Birju Maharaj a lot. Kamal, who knows this well, invited me to the sets of Viswaroopam to meet the dancer."

"I was totally surprised and stunned by this gesture of Kamal. I immediately rushed to Viswaroopam location, met Birju Maharaj and interacted with him. It was such a nice meeting, thanks to my good friend Kamal Haasan sir."

The Kathak dancer is teaching the dance form to the Ulaganayagan for 'Viswaroopam'. Birju reportedly said in a recent interview: "Recently, I taught Kamal Haasan a few Kathak steps for his film Vishwaroopam. He is a very eager learner."
