When asked Kamal Haasan whether he would like to act alongside Rajnikanth and Prabhu in Chandramukhi, he shot back with a reply: "I would love to. Sivaji Ganesan was not just my mentor, but an adorable father. When a movie is made in his banner to commemorate its golden jubilee, I will act, if Prabhu gives me a role".
