In  a book launch event held recently, Sankaracharya Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati not rising up for the Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu stirred contoversy and earned flak. Apart from setting the media ablaze, many are demanding an apology from Vijayendra.

Regarding this, Kamal Hassan has revealed his opinion that Tamil Thaai Vaalzhthu cannot be played whenever, wherever one wants. “Sometimes, it is not possible to give solutions to all problems, the necessity for Vijayendra to show it in meditation is his duty. To stand up is my duty,” Kamal said.

Moreover Kamal also stated that he was unsure if spiritual politics would work out but welfare for people is his prime goal. Kamal also said that he will announce his decision regarding elections after talks with his party representatives.
