Keeping in mind the impending woes of the north-east monsoon, Kamal Hassan had already issued a warning and also the need to take precautionary measures. He also visited the Ennore creek and assessed the situation calling forward one and all to be prepared for risk management.

Now, Kamal has once again cautioned the state and the people of what may occur if no preventive measures are taken to tackle the problems that the monsoon poses. Stating that he was saddened by recent news, the actor also made special mention of areas that need proper risk averting procedures.

Kamal also said that it would not take long before danger sets in regions surrounding the north-west and the south-west Chennai that includes lakes of Guduvanchery, Narayanapuram, Chitlapakkam, Selaiyur, Nandivaram and Mudichur.

He also opined that neither social activists nor people knew about the threshold capacity of these lakes, it was advisable to come up with precautionary procedures beforehand. All will be well if the Kamal’s cautionary statements translate into the state getting into action.
