Kamal's 'Thoongavanam' is not the exact remake of 'Sleepless Night'

Actor Kamal Haasan's next film Thoongavanam' is on the post production stages and the film is expected to hit the screens in November first week.

The film's trailer was launched yesterday to a thunderous response from fans.

Speaking in an interview, the film's director Rajesh.M.Selva refuted the claim that the film is a remake of French Thriller flick Sleepless Night'.

He clarified that while the story of the French Film has been used after buying the due rights, the screenplay of the film has been written by Kamal Haasan while dialogues have been written by Suga who has worked in the creative department of Kamal's latest super hit film Papanasam'.

Thoongavanam' stars Kamal. Trisha, Prakash Raj, Kishore, Sampath Raj, Madhu Shalini, Asha Sharath, Uma Riyaz and many others. Music has been rendered by Ghibran.
