Legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan has been known for delivering some of the greatest performances ever in Indian cinema, and has played a wide variety of roles in a career spanning nearly five decades. Nadigar Thilagam, as he is popularly called, celebrates his 91st birthday today.
With fans across the world showering wishes to the legend, Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan has also posted a lovely wish on his Twitter account. His tweet read "Like all naive fans of Nadigar Thilakam, I too believed his human body would be immortal like his body of work. After so many years, his sons and fans are still trying to come to terms with him not being there. Happy birthday Nadigar Thilakam alias Appa."
Kamal Haasan and Sivaji Ganesan have acted together in many movies like Paarthaal Pasi Theerum, Thevar Magan, Uruvangal Maaralam, and they shared a great bond outside films as well. Earlier, Sivaji Ganesan's grandson Vikram Prabhu also wished his grandfather on his birthday by sharing a vintage photo of the actor.
Like all naive fans of Nadigar Thilakam, I too believed his human body would be immortal like his body of work. After so many years, his sons and fans are still trying to come to terms with him not being there. Happy birthday Nadigar Thilakam alias Appa.
