Kamal Haasan, the actor-filmmaker par excellence once again proved that he is a true legend even off screen. His most recent gesture has left most social media users in tears. The Ulaganayagan did something most special for a fan who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer by reaching out to him on a zoom video.
He not only drove his ardent admirer Saketh ecstatic for a full ten minutes but also inspired him to not give up and keep fighting. Saketh has been longing to speak with his idol, Kamal Haasan, for a long time, and getting to know of his critical situation he readily consented to meet with him on zoom. Social media users have been emotionally moved by the images of Kamal Haasan engaging with the terminally ill person.
Kamal has always been an activist for cancer treatment and has even written scenes in his films such as 'Manmadhan Ambu' where through the character of Ramesh Aravind he conveyed the message that one can survive it with the right treatment.
In his iconic film 'Vasool Raja MBBS' Kamal would hug people who are angry or sick saying it's an age-old "Kattipidi Vaidhyam" and those who were hugged would feel better. Similarly, he has given a virtual hug to his fan Saketh and hopefully, he not only feels better but also wins his battle.
