Every time a Kamal Haasan film's release date is nearing trouble starts to brew and it is no different with 'Vishwaroopam 2' which is set to hit the screens on August 10th. Popular production house Pyramid Saimeera has filed a case in the Chennai High Court seeking to stop the release of the much awaited sequel of 'Vishwaroopam' till their issue is resolved.
According to the petition Pyramid Saimeera had paid rupees 4Crores as an advance to Kamal Haasan a few years back for a film titled 'Marma Yogi'. Since the project did not develop after that the company is asking the Ulaganayagan to return rupees 5.44 Crores which includes the interest immediately. The court has admitted the case and the hearing will be held soon which creates doubt whether 'Vishwaroopam 2' will release as planned or would be stalled.
'Vishwaroopam 2' directed by Kamal has Andrea, Pooja Kumar, Shekar Kapur, Rahul Bose and Nassar in the cast with Ghibran composing the music.
