Kamal Haasan, inarguably the highest rated Indian actor in the past five decades recently made a massive comeback with Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram'. The film with music by Anirudh and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil went on to collect more than rupees four hundred crores at the worldwide box office.
Kamal is currently in the final leg of shooting for 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar after which he is expected to star in a quickie 'KH 233' directed by H. Vinoth and later on 'KH 234' directed by Mani Ratnam.
Meanwhile there is strong buzz from reliable sources that the Ulaganayagan has signed on to play the chief antagonist in the pan Indian film 'Project K' directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead. It is said that producer Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies felt that only Kamal can do the tough negative character reportedly finalised the deal paying the legendary actor rupees one hundred and fifty crores as remuneration. Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is also a part of the cast and he too is said to have been paid a huge sum. There are also reports that Suriya, Mahesh Babu and Disha Patani will be on board as well.
The reports further suggest that Kamal has allotted 20 days call sheet for 'Project K' and will complete it in one go between his other films and 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7'. Stay tuned for the official update on this super exciting news.
