Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil's mass characters in 'Vikram' details emerge

Movie lovers have a lot to cheer as far as Kollywood upcoming biggies are concerned as most of the releases once theaters reopen are big stars and filmmakers vehicles. If sheer casting is taken into account there is no film to beat Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram'. The 'Master' director has pulled of yet another casting coup by bringing together three brilliant actors of the era Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahaadh Faasil.

Earlier this month a few days of shooting was held for 'Vikram' with Kamal and VJS participating on the first day and later Fahadh joining in. Kalidas Jayaram has also reportedly boarded the multistarrer playing Kamal's son.

Reports are emerging that Kamal is playing a retired police officer in 'Vikram' which may be an extension of the super cop character he played In the 1986 film of the same name. There is also a buzz that he is portraying a visually challenged person which makes it all the more interesting.

Sources now add that Fahadh Faasil is appearing as a scientist with grey shades to his character. The same birdie swears that Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is going to go badass again and Lokesh Kanagaraj has designed another spine-chilling evil persona for him after their blockbuster hit 'Master' starring Thalapathy Vijay.

The full fledged shooting of 'Vikram' will begin in the second week of August when we will have more details regarding the rest of the cast. The film has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, and editing by Philomin Raj. Its a Raj Kamal Films International production.
