Sensational filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj in a short span of time has raced to the top among Kollywood directors. He started with the low budget 'Maanagaram' a moderate hit while his very next 'Kaithi' starring Karthi went on to become a super hit. He followed it by delivering the blockbuster hit 'Master' starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi.

Lokesh then had his dream come true of directing the stalwart Kamal Haasan in 'Vikram' for which he also pulled a casting coup by roping in the celebrated Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil as parallel leads. The film an Anirudh musical is releasing on June 3rd this year.

Now the hot news is that legendary pan Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan has played an important cameo role in 'Vikram'. It is said that his portions were shot in a single day and the team has kept it secret so far. The sources add that the charismatic hero will appear in the climax and is one of the key highlights of the story.
