Kamal Haasan is acting in the lead and producing his new movie 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj which is one of the most hyped films of the year. The team effected a casting coup by bringing together acting powerhouses Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.

Lokesh Kanagaraj completed the entire shooting of 'Vikram' last week and posproduction work is on in full swing. It is said that Raaj Kamal Films International is planning to release the film on April 28th in the lucrative summer holiday season.

It is reported that the business of 'Vikram' has already heated up in the trade and Disney Plus Hotstar is said to have bagged both the satellite and the digital rights of the film. The multistarrer has apparently done a massive rupees 115 Crores business much ahead of the release. According to pundits Kamal has now recovered his full investment for the film which is 110 Crores plus a profit of 5 Crores. The rest of the theatrical and other business exploitations will rake in huge profits for the legendary entertainer according to forecasts.

'Vikram' has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. The ensemble cast includes Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Kaalidas Jayaram, Mynaa Nandhini, VJ Maheshwari, Shivani Narayanan, Santhanabharathi and Narain.
