Sensational director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently announced the completion of the shooting of 'Vikram' with a video of Fahadh Faasil firing and emptying the bullets of a pistol in his hands. The postproduction work has begun for the magnum opus starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil and the release date will be officially announced on Lokesh Kanagaraj's birthday on March 14th.
Meanwhile reports are doing the rounds that the story of 'Vikram' has been leaked. Accordingly Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil play siblings with the former being a gangster and the latter a politician. The brothers apparently kidnap a high ranking government official Narain and trap him in a fortress like prison and how Kamal, a retired police officer, saves him from them is supposed to be the core subject.
The reports further add that Kamal plays the role of a blind man and Lokesh Kanagaraj has designed the screenplay in an interesting way as to how he accomplishes his mission without his sight.
This in no way can be taken as the story of 'Vikram' as the director or the production house has not revealed it yet. Meanwhile fans are eagerly awaiting the teaser, songs and trailer of the film.
'Vikram' has music by Anirudh and the ensemble cast along with Kamal, VJS and Fahadh Faasil includes Narain, Chemban Vinod, S. Gayathrie, Shivani Narayanan, Mynaa Nandhini, VJ Maheshwari, Santhanabharathi and Kalidas Jayaram.
