Kamal Haasan fans and Tamil film buffs woke up to a shocking news this morning. The legendary actor was admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai as he had fallen down from the stair case at his Alwarpet office at around 3 am resulting in a fracture on his leg.

Though the veteran's official PR who announced this unfortunate news to media, had assured that the injury is not serious and there is nothing to worry about, anxiety prevailed among fans especially in Social media.

Now an assuring statement from the Hospital management would bring out a sigh of relief. The medical bulletin from Apollo claims that Kamal Haasan has underwent a surgery on his leg and he is currently stable. He will be discharged from the hospital within two or three days.

We again wish the actor for a complete recovery so that the workaholic professional starts what he loves the most- working on his films.
