Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan formally launched his next film Thoongavanam' (Cheekati Rajyam' in Telugu) at Hyderabad where shooting is also happening. One of the first look posters show Kamal kissing a girl, but only her back is visible to the viewer. The Telugu media and fans have been left in a frenzy wondering if Trisha is the girl on the receiving end of Kamal's lips as she is the leading lady of the film.

'Thoongavanam' is directed by Kamal Haasan's erstwhile assistant Rajesh M Selva while Ghibran is the music director and has Prakash Raj and Uma Riaz Khan in crucial roles.
