According to the latest buzz, Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan will be teaming up with Malayalam superstar Mammootty, Mohanlal, and Fahadh Faasil for an upcoming Anthology that is based on short stories written by MT Vasudevan Nair. While there has been no official confirmation regarding this project, it has also been reported that Netflix has approached directors Lijo Jose Pellissery, Priyadarshan, Jayaraj, Shyamprasad, Santosh Sivan, and Mahesh Narayanan to helm the various short stories. While Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Fahadh Faasil will play the lead roles in the anthology, Kamal Haasan will apparently present the project and also be the narrator. There has been no official announcement yet.
Currently, Kamal is working on his Tamil film Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. There was a delay in the shooting schedule of ‘Vikram’ as Kamal Haasan was tested positive for the novel coronavirus and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment in Chennai and was discharged later. The film is expected to hit the screens this year. Meanwhile, Mohanlal is awaiting the release of Bro Daddy, helmed by actor Prithviraj. Fahadh is basking in the success of his Telugu debut Pushpa while Mammootty has a handful of movies for the year. The actor, who was filming for CBI 5, tested positive for COVID-19 last day and is under home isolation.
