Vijay TV is all set to launch Big Boss Season 5 in October this year as it did last year. Meanwhile, it was reported on social media that Kamal Haasan will be producing Big Boss – 5 season as the previous producer dropped the show.
Endemol Shine, a Dutch company which had the copy rights of BigBoss show was acquired by a French company called Banijay last year. Banijay is one of the most reputed and largest companies in the world. The company has also been producing some series for Vijay TV for the last few years.
Kamal Haasan’s Rajkamal Films and Turmeric Media have teamed up with Banijay to produce some shows, including OTT web series. Sources say that it is rumored that Kamal Haasan will be producing the Big Boss 5 show with this in mind.
According to latest reports all licenses for the Big Boss 5 season are now with Banijay and Kamal Haasan will host the show and has nothing to do with the production of this show.
