The shooting of the much-awaited magnum opus is planned to resume on August 25. While the shooting of Indian 2 is set to resume tomorrow, the Universal Hero is most likely to join the sets only during the first week of September. Sources say that Kamal Haasan will start shooting for the film from September 5th onwards.

It is being reported that the scenes involving Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Rakul Preet Singh will be shot until then. The female lead Kajal Aggarwal has earlier revealed that she will be joining the shooting by the mid of September. Indian 2 also stars Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Vennela Kishore and others.

Initially, late actors Vivek and Nedumudi Venu were part of the cast. Now, reports say that Karthik, Sathyaraj and Nandu Poduval are said to be the latest additions to the cast. Anirudh is composing the musical score for Indian 2 while Ravi Varman handles the cinematography and Sreekar Prasad takes care of editing.
