Thirty-five years after the release of 'Amavasya Chandrudu' (Singeetham's 'Raja Paarvai'), Kamal Haasan is going to be seen in the role of a blind man. Currently recuperating from a leg injury amid shooting for the trilingual Sabaash Naidu` (he will rest till November), the actor has elicited interest in going for a remake, once again, after 'Papanasam'.

The Ulaganayagan has acquired the remake rights to the latest Mohanlal blockbuster Oppam`, directed by Priyadarshan. The character that Mohanlal plays is that of a blind lift operator in a huge apartment. Kamal, who is reprising this challenging role, is yet to make this official.

Kamal's fans across the country will eagerly await this movie.
