Actor Kamal Haasan who has announced his intention to take the political plunge months before his good friend and professional rival Rajinikanth, is all set to announce the name of his new political party on February 21, 2018. On the same day he will be starting his proposed trip across many districts of Tamil Nadu from Ramanathapuam the district in which he was born in 1954.

Kamal Haasan will be embarking on a statewide trip and meet people to learn about their needs, issues and aspirations. In the first round he will be visiting Madurai, Dindigul and Sivagangai districts. 

On the same day of the commencement of the journey he will be announcing the name of his party as well as the guiding principles of the yet to be formed party.
