Kamal Haasan repeats History after Twenty Years

Yesterday, the 8th of August marked the wrap up of shooting for Kamal Haasan's Thoongavanam' directed by Rajesh M Selva and starring Trisha, Madhu Shalini, Asha Sarath, Prakash Raj, Yugi Sethu, Sampath and Kishore. The film goes into post production and is expected to hit the screens on Diwali this year.

Two films of Kamal , Uttama Villain' and Papanasam' have already released this year and after twenty years, three of the Ulaganayagan's films are released on the same day. The last time this happened was way back in the year 1995 when Sathi Leelavathi', Subha Sankalpam' and Kurithipunal' released in the same year.
