Kamal Haasan's upcoming action thriller 'Thoongavanam' has been has been creating lot of buzz and is one of the most awaited films this year. Based on the French film Sleepless Night` by Frederic Jardin, this Rajesh's directorial garnered very good response for its trailer, with nearly 2.5 million views and counting.

Now latest update from the movie's front is that it will also hit the screens in US, which will be jointly presented by ATMUS Entertainment and SAI Ventures (MM Media). 'Thoongavanam', which is scheduled for a grand November release worldwide, is expected to open as the biggest Kamal Haasan`s film in his career in the US.

Also starring Trisha and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles, 'Thoongavanam' is filled with serious action packed sequences, family sentiments, great costume designing and lots of twists and turns - making it a complete entertainment package. The trailer of Thoongaavanam` sees the actors in their best shape and casting showing off some slick action movies as comparable to Hollywood films. The powerful sound effects of the trailer ensures that the film will create a different feel altogether engaging the audience till the very end.

For the records, director Rajesh is a former assistant of Kamal, who assisted in 'Vishwaroopam' sequels. While the screenplay is done by Kamal himself, it is produced under his home banner Raaj Kamal Films.
