Ulaganaygan Kamal Haasan's upcoming thriller flick 'Thoongavanam' is all set to hit the screens for Deepavali festival. The film crew headed by director Rajesh.M.Selva sparked a surprise by finishing the shooting within 40 days. The film that went on floors in July is now ready for release.

Reliable sources reveal that the film is presently being watched by Censor Board officials and the censor rating of the film will be out within a few hours from now.

With this an important pre-release requisite will be over and the full-fledged promotions for the Deepavali release with the official release date is expected to begin soon.

'Thoongavanam' and its Telugu version 'Cheekati Rajyam' is a original multi-starrer with Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Prakash Raj, Madhu Shalini, Kishore, Sampath, Yuhi Sethu, Asha Sharath and many others included in the star cast, The film has been produced by Raj Kamal Films International and music has been rendered by Ghibran.
