What will the result be when Kamal and Ajith clash again?

It 2002 on Pongal day when Ajith’s ‘Red’ clashed with Kamal Haasan’s ‘Pammal K Sambandham’ the result was the Ulaganayagan’s film scored marginally better over the Thala movie at the box office.

This Diwali on the 10th of November ‘Vedhalam’ starring Ajith and Shruti Haasan and ‘Thoongavanam’ starring Kamal and Trisha are clashing at the box office after thirteen years. It is being said that ‘Vedhalam’ has been acquired by Jazz Cinemas a new company who have reportedly booked all major big screens in all territories and ‘Thoongavanam’ is coming on relatively lesser screens. Both the luminaries command a huge opening at the box office but who will emerge the winner of course depends on content to sustain in the long run.
