Its a well known fact that Kamal Haasan is a true admirer of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. As the legendary actor is active in Twitter these days. he wrote a Tamil poem to mark the occasion of the 69th Death Anniversary of the Mahtma on January 30, 2017.

The poem was too intellectualised to understand for common people especially the social media users who are mostly accustomed to only colloquial Tamil. However in Kavignar Magudeshwaran, a well known Tamil poet and an expert of Tamil grammar wrote a detailed explanation of Kamal's poem and had praised the poem too. He did it in his Facebook page and that has grabbed the attention of the multi-talented star.

Now Kamal has thanked the Kavignar again in chaste Tamil. While doing so he has admitted that he has not learn Tamil through formal education and said it the poem had any flaws it was his and if there is any greatness in it the credit belongs to the Tamil language.
