Mouli's clarification about 'Meyyappan' with Kamal Haasan

Last week it was being reported that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will be doing a film for the prestigious AVM Productions banner. It was said that the film will be a comedy entertainer directed by veteran director-actor Mouli and it will be titled as 'Meyyappan' as a tribute to the production company's founder.
However this seems to be a baseless rumor as confirmed by Mouli in a recent interview.
Sources say that the Ulaganayagan and his 'Pammal K Sammandham' director met recently but it was only a friendly meet and not to discuss about any project. However it is true that Mouli has narrated a comedy script to Kamal sometimes back but nothing has been firmed up regarding that.
As of now Kamal is focused in completing his Tamil-Telugu-Hindi trilingual 'Sabash Naidu' whose shooting is expected to resume in the mid of December after a long gap caused by his leg injury,
Kamal is also directing the film that will have Ramya Krishnan and Shruti Haasan in other important roles. Isaignani Ilaiyaraja is rendering the music score for the film.
