The Nadigar Sangam elections that will be held on June 23rd supervised by retired judge Padmanaban has gained momentum as the Pandavar Ani of Nasser, Vishal, Karthi, Karunaas and Poochi Murugan and the Sankardas Swamigal Ani of K.Bhagyaraj, Isari Ganesh, Kutty Padmini and Udaya have filed their nominations.  Nasser met Kamal Haasan who proposed his name for the President post and also wished him all the very best.

It may be recalled that in the previous elections too it was Kamal who first openly supported the Pandavar Ani and was one of the guiding lights for the team to win that election in 2016.  

The Swamy Sankaradas Ani leader Bhagyaraj has also stated that both Rajini and Kamal have extended their suport to his team.  This makes it all the more confusing which team is the Ulaganayagan actually backing.  Kamal's season 3 as the 'Bigg Boss' host kickstarts co-incidently on the same day as the Nadigar Sangam elections.
