After his speech at Aravakurichi during an election campaign, Kamal Haasan has been trending worldwide and is the most talked about personality in Tamil Nadu political fraternity, with many celebrities and politicians condemning his views and religious outfits angered by his Hindu Terrorist remark.
In his campaigns after the speech, there have been unexpected incidents happening, as his Tiruparankundram campaign witnessed a person hurling slippers at Kamal, and during the Aravakurichi campaign yesterday, eggs were thrown and stones were pelted on the actor turned politician.
Following this, the actor's plans to campaign in Sulur today have faced a setback, as police permission for the campaign has been denied. The campaigning for Thiruparankundram, Aravakurichi. Sulur and Ottapidaram bye elections ends by 5 pm today, and despite the denial of permission to campaign, Makkal Needhi Maiam members believe that Kamal's speeches so far might have created necessary impact and garner more votes.
